WeRead is an official Tencent app offering access to a colossal catalog of books. The app has everything from literary classics to some of today's most interesting novels. As if that weren't enough, you can also access a host of audiobooks.

Log in with your WeChat account

You'll need a user account to use WeRead. Logging into the app, though, is as easy as scanning the QR code from the WeChat app. Once inside the app you can customize your profile and access all the free features. Please note, however, that some of the app's features are exclusive to subscribers.

Although with the free version of WeRead you can read lots of books, some of the latest releases are only available to Premium users. If you purchase either of the two available subscriptions (WeChat Reading Unlimited) you can access the app's entire catalog, listen to all audiobooks, download books to read them offline, and even write about the books.
